Ilgın SALMAN


Ilgın Salman was born in 1974 in Ankara. She started her piano education at the age of five with Prof. Ayşe Savaşır. Until 1991, she continued her studies with Prof. Savaşır and then with pianist Mehmet Okonşar. In addition to her studies, she graduated from T.E.D. Ankara College and Hacettepe University Faculty of Economics.

In 1997, after being accepted by Associate Professor Daniela Ballek, who is a pupil of famous concert pianist Claudio Arrau, Salman moved to Germany to continue her further studies with Ms. Ballek. During this period, she had the chance to learn and implement the piano technique and teachings of Claudio Arrau.

In 2011 she was accepted to master degree program at the Conservatory of Başkent University, in Ankara. She acquired her piano master degree in 2013 from the class of Associate Professor Kamerhan Turan.

She also attended masterclasess of idil Biret and Ayşegül Sarıca.

Besides giving piano lessons, she also performed many solo and chamber music concerts.

In 2013, he founded Mozarthaus with Koray Okyay and assumed the role of creative director.

Koray OKYAY


He was born in 1979 in Ankara. She started her music studies at the age of thirteen with Kemal Eroğlu. He was accepted to Bilkent University, Faculty of Music and Performing Arts, Department of Piano and began his undergraduate studies with Prof. Ayşe Savaşır. After Savaşır's retirement, Okyay continued his studies with Assoc. Prof. Hacıbaba Adiloğlu and graduated from the undergraduate program with honors in 2003.

Continuing his academic studies with Prof. Kamerhan Turan at Başkent University State Conservatory, Department of Piano, Okyay completed his master's degree in piano in 2013.

Okyay, who gives solo and chamber music concerts as well as piano lessons, founded Mozarthaus with Ilgın Salman in 2013.

Okyay has been working as artistic director and concert coordinator at Mozarthaus since 2014.
